Stoneware pieces should never be used on the hob or any direct heat source as this can cause damage. Our Stoneware pieces are incredibly versatile and can be safely used in the microwave, freezer, refrigerator, dishwasher, and oven, with a maximum oven-safe temperature of 500°F / 260°C. Oven mitts should always be used when handling hot Stoneware.

Cooking with Stoneware

If you are using ovenproof Stoneware under a grill, always ensure a gap of at least 6.5cm is maintained between the rim of the dish and the heat source to prevent the Stoneware overheating. Be cautious of hot handles and avoid covering them with plastic wrap.

Refrain from placing a frozen dish directly into a preheated oven as this can affect even heating. Instead, place the frozen dish in a cold oven and allow the dish and the oven to heat up together. Before serving, always check that the centre of the food is thoroughly heated.
