Wash your Le Creuset product in warm, soapy water; then rinse and dry thoroughly.

Cooking

Purpose-built: Designed like a bread cloche to be better optimised for baking, specifically bread baking.

Bakery-style results: The domed lid traps and circulates steam to create a crispy crust and tender crumb, similar to a bakery steam oven.

Hallmark quality: Raised ridges imprint the Le Creuset name and hallmark three rings underneath the loaf.

For all your favourites: The Bread Oven can be used for all types of sweet and savoury baked goods, roasting meat and vegetables, and more.

Matte black interior: This satin enamel develops a patina over time to enhance baking performance.

Hob-to-oven versatility: Compatible with all cooktops and oven-safe up to 260°C.

Cleaning

Wait for your product to cool down before you start cleaning it.

Wipe any leftovers off the base and sides of the product. If there’s food stuck on, fill the product with warm, soapy water and let it soak for 15 to 20 minutes before washing as usual.

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or metal, harsh abrasive or very stiff cleaning pads or brushes on any of the surfaces.

Dry well after washing and store in a dry place.

Casserole body: Casseroles with built-in cast iron and phenolic handles are dishwasher-safe. However, constant dishwashing may lead to dulling of the enamel finish.

Casserole lid: Lids with stainless steel and phenolic knobs are dishwasher-safe. Lids with gold, iridescent, copper and black nickel knobs should be hand-washed to maintain their finish.
