What are Cookies?

Our website uses cookies and other tracking technologies. A cookie is a small text file containing tiny amounts of information which are downloaded to your device when you visit a website. Cookies are then sent back to the same website each time you visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie.
Cookies are not computer programs, and cannot read information saved on your hard drive. Cookies cannot carry viruses, install malware, or take your email address. They only contain and transfer to the website as much information as the users themselves have disclosed to that website.
By clicking "ALLOW SELECTION or ALLOW ALL" on the cookie banner on the Le Creuset website, you are agreeing to our Privacy and Cookie policies and consent to the use of cookies and similar technologies by us and our carefully selected third party partners as described in these policies. If you do not agree to such use, please see the Managing Your Cookies section below for details on how to adjust your settings or remove consent.
For more information about how we process your personal data, see our privacy policy.
Why does Le Creuset use Cookies?
Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognise the device you are using, and to provide you with a better website experience, by remembering something you have done within the website, eg logging in or which buttons you have clicked. At Le Creuset we use cookies and similar technologies to recognise our customers and also to understand and improve the shopping experience for you.
Cookie Terminology
Only last for the duration of your browsing session on the website. Your web browser would normally delete these when you close the browser.
These last longer than the browser session. A persistent cookie remains valid until its set expiry date (unless you delete it before). For example, if you log into a website and then return some days later, the website knows who you are and displays a welcome message to you.
These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They ar`e usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as logging in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block these cookies, but some parts of the site will not then work.
These cookies allow us to improve website performance and user experience. They also help us to count visits and traffic sources, for example to understand which pages are the most and least popular, and to see how visitors move around the site. If you do not allow these cookies we will not know when you have visited our site, and will be less able to improve the performance of our website.
We use targeting cookies to track your navigation of our website in order to create profiles of your tastes, habits, choices, etc. This allows us to send you relevant promotional messages. Please be aware that if you disable or delete them, we will not be able to send such relevant messages, and the proper functioning of some features and access to some parts of the website may be affected.
These cookies may be set in our website by our advertising partners. They may be used by our partners to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites. If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising.
These cookies are set by a range of social media services that we have added to our website to allow you to import your data from social media platform or share our content with your friends and networks. They are capable of tracking your browser across other sites and building up a profile of your interests. This may impact the content and messages you see on other websites you visit. If you do not allow these cookies you may not be able to use or see these social sharing tools.
Most web browsers can be configured to disable cookies, or to notify you before accepting a cookie. For information on how to configure your cookie preferences, please refer to the section Managing Cookies below.

We will update this page as any cookies change on this website. While we intend to update this page regularly, there may occasionally be some cookies missing from the list.

Managing Cookies
You can accept, disable and reject cookies easily by using the opt-outs above or by adjusting your browser settings. You can also personalise your browser settings for different websites and web applications, and most mainstream browsers allow you to select different settings for proprietary and third-party cookies.
If you choose not to allow technical cookies at your browser you will still be able to browse around the website but certain functions will not be available, for example you will not be able to set up a new account or access an existing account. By not allowing cookies, some of our standard functionality will not work fully or partially, for example deleting certain cookies will remove items from your trolley or sign you out of your Le Creuset account (you may need to re-enter your personal details eg loginID and password). Also, within the basket icon at the top right of the web page, it may appear that you have items in your basket, although these may actually have been deleted.
Please note that cookies are device-specific, so if you log on to any website from a different computer or from your mobile, the cookie settings on that computer/mobile will apply.
You can delete cookies stored in your browser by using a function in your browser. While this does not mean you won’t collect cookies in the future, it gives you freedom to delete your cookies after you have been online. This is known as ‘clearing cookies’. Clearing your cookies on one browser on one device does not automatically clear them on another. You need to clear all browsers on all devices independently.
For your convenience, below are links to the web pages of the main browsers that contain instructions on how to delete cookies:
Internet Explorer | Firefox | Chrome | Safari
